The flights at Sydney Airport were disrupted on Thursday due to an air traffic controller shortage. The controller crunch brought on delays and cancellations for passengers. The disruption at Sydney Airport kept planes on the ground, and a control tower could be shut because of the staffing shortfall. A cancelled flight comes about every three days due to staff shortages. In a separate matter on Thursday, the ASX also looked set for its own worst week since the US-Iran war began.
