The Roosters held back key players to manage load for the match. Tedesco, Walker and Robson sat out the veterans. Stand-in player Pezut took Moses’ spot in the lineup a rookie. The side also fielded younger talent to the mix. Tupou now rests among the club’s rarefied 300-game group in Roosters history.
