The United States Central Command organized a meeting of military leaders at a conference in Germany. Among those present were the chiefs of staff of Israel and seven Arab states. The talks centered on the conflict with Iran. A report by lawmakers estimates the conflict cost the Pentagon 38 billion dollars while straining missile stockpiles. According to the report, the war has depleted U.S. missile reserves. The conference gave senior officers from all eight countries a chance to discuss the war and coordinate next steps.
