Tim Kennedy Wounded in Congo Armed Ambush

Former UFC fighter and US Green Beret Tim Kennedy was wounded in a firefight in the Democratic Republic of Congo involving forces connected to Erik Prince, according to Reuters and the New York Times. A New Zealand SAS veteran died in the same ambush.

The incident has exposed what reporters describe as a covert military campaign Prince is conducting in the region. Kennedy is known widely for his career as a combat sports fighter and his career as a US Army Special Forces soldier.
