Kazuma Okamoto now holds a Toronto Blue Jays milestone. He struck out for the 171st time this season on Friday. That surpasses every single-season strikeout total ever recorded by the club. The game came in Toronto versus the Baltimore Orioles on September 11. It was by no means the mark he wanted. Okamoto connected for his 31st home run in the same game. Strikeouts are never a good look for any hitter. Sportsnet and Yahoo Sports confirmed the feat. The Blue Jays hosted the Orioles that night.
