Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and scored a goal in a close loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, who had been sidelined, took the ice alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who played in the big league. Despite the loss, the Sharks found a positive moment as Ivar Stenberg scored his first-ever professional goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
