In Piddington village, residents held a referendum and chose to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy reacted to the vote. She stated the government will listen to the residents and consider their concerns.

The government unveiled new 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with life's challenges and offer guidance. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, following a pilot in the area. New hubs are planned for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East as part of the rollout.
