The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit firmly denied former President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to stop the removal of his name away from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The judges in its ruling said the request remain denied while his appeal proceeds.
The decision means the Kennedy Center intends to keep Trump’s name off its building at present. Previous decisions also dismissed Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case continues to be pending in the appeals process.
