His record includes activism for LGBTQIA+ rights and prior association with Labor and the Sex Party. In May he confirmed he revealed he is openly homosexual and has an Indonesian Muslim partner. The result helped boost One Nation in South Australia as leader Cory Bernardi secured a Legislative Council position.
