Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from access issues and timed-out content. Downdetector data shows a sudden rise in outage reports over the past hours. Both the app and website appear non-functional simultaneously. Meta has yet to release a statement about the disruption as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
