Childcare operator Edge Early Learning has entered voluntary administration. The PE-owned company runs 70 childcare centres, leaving the future of its locations in doubt. Arena REIT disclosed the entry into voluntary administration once notifications about the situation of the childcare group were received.
Advisory firm KordaMentha was chosen as administrator for Edge Early Learning. Administrators have stepped in to oversee the operations and financial health of the childcare provider. Arena REIT No 1 got formal notice about the proceedings. The entry into administration leaves 70 childcare centres facing doubt while KordaMentha manages the process.
