He followed that clips with one social media post saying the 49ers can cut him and he is set to sign with the Washington Commanders the next day.
The comments have drawn attention from NFL observers. Aiyuk’s statement was reported by ESPN, Yahoo Sports and NBC Sports. He repeated the same promise in several posts. The 49ers have not responded publicly. If released, that player could join Washington ahead of the start of the next season.
