Weather radars across Australia are picking up confusing readings that have meteorologists puzzled. While the BOM confirms there are no significant weather changes, the insect activity are causing confusion in the radar readings. These groups of moths are generating misleading data on the radar, making it challenging to distinguish between meteorological conditions and insect movements. Meteorologists are working to understand the unusual activity and their likely consequences on weather forecasting.
