Prominent investor Bill Ackman's fund, Pershing Square, has posted a 15.9% yearly gain since 2004. That performance history beats the S&P 500 by over 5 points a year. A $1,000 investment with Ackman in 2004 would be worth over $25,000 today. In recent moves, Ackman sold 25% of his stake in a big tech giant for two AI rivals. He also launched a new way to invest in pre-IPO companies.
Outside of market holdings, Ackman contributed funds to a brain research center after his daughter experienced a hemorrhage.
