Two people died suddenly at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday when vehicles collided on the busy Highway 401. The two male drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Five more passengers suffered small cuts. Thick road debris covered the left lanes. Cleanup crews had the scene cleared. Authorities closed that stretch of road. Investigators left the site by around 11 a.m..
